Upcycling: The art of experimenting and utilising waste to create something new. Upcycling allows designers and consumers to utilize discarded materials, conserve resources and spark creativity.

This trend follows the thrift store spirit of finding old treasures and creating new styles out of them. However, upcycling goes one step further by refashioning old products to create an entirely new product of higher quality.
